The Ivrea Stadium is one of the best stadiums for canoe slalom in Europe; many national teams usually train here all year round. And the location should not be underestimated: it is a non-sporting aspect which contributes to creating the specificity of the Ivrea channel: athletes paddle through the city centre, in a unique atmosphere which has no equal in other stadiums of this level.
