It’s Lucia Pistoni’s turn, an athlete from Ivrea now part of the navy’s team, to reveal the secrets of the second boat that is going to be in the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup 4 in Ivrea: the kayak (K).

The differences between this boat and the canoe (C) are immediately identifiable. The paddle has two blades and the athlete takes a seated position. Concerning the size, a kayak must be at least 350cm long and 60cm wide and it must weigh 9kg minimum .
